Life Update V.3.2007
Wow, its been quite a long while since I updated my blog.
..on a personal level, that is. On what’s been goin’ on and stuffs in my life. I’m now exactly 2 months 19 days away from my ORD date. My army life’s been smashing. I still remember this:

Here it is! Its 3:22 in the a.m. yo! The 10th of June 2005, the very day my life is going to change as we know it! The day I become a MAN! (…not that I’m not already man enough as it is..LOL!).
While listening to X-Japan’s The Last Song, I type my final blog post before I go into National Service. Its been an interesting 19 years of my life, seriously. All my friends, my family. They have been really good to me.

Its nearly over man. Its nearly over. Its finally here…
: ) …though something else of a totally different nature’s just beginning. How I could have landed myself such a gemstone is way beyond me. She’s cute. She’s adorable. She’s so intellectual. So independent. Has a great sense of style. Blablabla. Haha. I could go on and on and on! Its been like, 1month 12 days since we officially got together : D And I’m so glad you came along when you did, dearies. Muahs! You learn a lot when you’re together with someone. Experience emotions you never thought possible, both good AND the bad. Learn to appreciate someone else for a change. Learn to accept someone for who they are. Learn to give and take. Its something that I’ma treasure for a long time to..come. ; )

ANYWAYS! Today, I kinda dumped like, kilos and kilos of old magazines! They totally took up a LOT of space!
*Salutes* they’ve served me well. Farewell, friends.
And these were the magazines I saved in the end. For posterity’s sake. Take a look at the catchphrases on the cover of each copy of the magazines in this picture and you’d find a game-related item which really meant something to me. From Metal Gear Solid 2 to Pokemon..wow. Those were the days. Call me a nerd, for all I care, but I can never ignore the fact that I’m a gamer at heart. Long live gaming! :).. oh, and ignore the toes. lol.
..and guess who’s finishing his national service soon? 
Its all gone by so fast. Oh so fast! Its funny, really. Wow. My life’s been one heck of a journey. And to quote a fast food advert, I’m lovin’ it! : ) Next up, train up for my triathlon dreams. 1.5km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run. Its the cycling that I’m afraid of. Nevertheless, eventually, I’m gonna make it! Biathlon down. Triathlon and 42KM to go!
..OH YEAH! My SAFSA swimming competition on the 6th of February! I got like..8th out of 12th place. Represented my Army 9thDIVISION in the 1.5KM Open Category swim (30laps in the pool). I got pretty good results, if I should say so myself. Was up against a few national and inter-school level swimmers! With the level of training I personally got (a week’s worth of daily trainings (ALL ALONE, by the way. Thank god I had some form of motivation left in me ; ) and the non-competitive nature of my trainings…I was kinda surprised I held my own! Timings were as follows:
1ST Place: 20.04min
2ND Place: 21:09min
3RD Place: 21:32min
4TH Place: 22:18min
5TH Place: 23.13min
6TH Place: 24:36min
7TH Place: 25:46min
8TH Place: 27:35min
Didn’t note down the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th positions. But all were below 30mins. Indefinitely.
Wasn’t my best timing ever (personal best was about 26mins+)..but after quite a long hiatus of not training up vigorously, I’m quite happy with what I managed to achieve. and 2 POINTS for 9THDIVISION! : ) Damn. I’m gonna train till I hit 25mins. I SWEAR TO GOD. One day. Then eventually. 20mins. I will DO IT! : D
…and 6th of February! Gee, I wonder why that date’s quite meaningful for me. Hmmmmm… *hint, a few posts ago. : D
Ah. Life is blissful.
