Tachikawa NO JIRETTAI BURO-GU!

And thus, I have returned to where it all begun. The place by the sea side. With the view of the aeroplanes soundlessly landing onto a runway just out of sight, just over the horizon. With the wafting sea breeze and the tropical sun bearing down on you. Not in a harsh way, mind you, but in a gentle, soothing, manner. The circle has completed itself once again. From a recruit, to a corporal, to a 3rd-ranked sergeant. And thus, once again, I have returned to where it all begun.

Its amazing ya? I’ve had sergeants completing the very same cycle I went through, and now, here I am. I just have to wonder , how many more recruits would I train in the coming one year plus of service I have left for me, that would be going through the exact same path I took in the past 9 months? The very same bunch that would be returning; saying “hi sergeant! been a while!” to me, reminiscing the good ol’ times and stuff.

Life’s just a cycle isn’t it. It always was, it always is, it always will be. I just find it all very interesting. I’m looking it from a micro level now; the whole cycle can be seen in such a short time. Life’s something very macro; very ‘in-the-big-picture’ ish. You’ll only get to see it maybe once or twice. Very interesting, yet..*sigh* saddening..in a way. You feel the futility of human life. Why are we here? We go through the whole cycle…generations have done so. I think..I think…that I think too much. I guess we should live life for the moment. Live, Love, Cry, Smile, Sulk. All for the moment. All for the moment…
